Thank you for the inspiration gentlemen! Both sinks are stunning!
I wholeheartedly agree with Tileman's advice. Your work is worth it Jim. Please try some higher price points for it. And when you ask for those higher prices, don't say it with a tone in your voice that says, "That's a lot of money." Say it like it's worth that amount of money because it IS worth it!!!!!!! Funny with the matching toilets comment!

I still haven't tried the kitchen/bath retailers (I know I know, gotta get on that...) but I've been able to sell them for $450-$550. I don't sell a whole lot of em though.
Peter, I use between 25 and 33 lbs (11.3 to 15 kg) depending on size. Not sure what others use.

Greg: Congratulations on a perfectly executed sink: well done indeed. The $500 price point would be correct for wholesale: IMO. As a tip: every remodeling or retailer regardless of the venue requires deposits on custom work. Asking 50% down with the order is well within reason and normal trade practices. When they have skin in the game: they are far less likely to walk. It should also be noted that the deposit is non-refundable. Again- very impressive piece.

Fantastic work! Why not try way over 1000$? That dead metal vs. Mozart's symphony? It's ridiculous. Know your worth as an artist. You don't need to sell it until the right buyer who will know how to appreciate and pay for it. I'm new to crystalline glazing, nevertheless I expect my small tea cups will exceed the prices of your much bigger and truly beautiful work. Congratulations!

Sounds like a wonderful idea but reality gets in my way I sell im many of the finest galleries all over california as well as work with designers decorators, boutiques ,gift stores ect.some of them for over 30 years one thing holds true if it dosnt sell they wont be buying any more. i have pretty much reduced myself to a commodity but with mortgages, tuition's insurances and taxes and life in general doesnt seem I can wait around for a sale. Im not complaining and it is certain my marketing skills could use some improvement but i make and sell alot of pottery and have for a long time most of my contemporary's either quit, died or became disabled.I still enjoy making pottery and feel fortunate that it has let me live my life on my own terms out here in the woods on the bank of the river. if you want to become my sales representative im open to discussion

One questions: Who crystalline sink would look after 4-5 year of usage? Crystalline glazes are rather soft, am I right?

It also occured to me that we have crystalline glazed plates that have been in regular use for 15 years without any sign of distress
