Dear Mr. Wizard, Well I see we have a new Forum. I don't know about you but this will be the fourth one we've wandered through (not including FACEBOOK) in a little less than a decade. Welcome home! Phil Hamling My Page
In case you forgot, you can view my biography HERE.
I wonder if Glenn Woods or Holly McKeen will greet me as a new member?

joerg, welcome once again. Glad to see you registered!
How did you post pics on the old forum? I thought everyone used photobucket.com
Is posting pics going to be a problem? Anyone that we haven't heard from yet, who doesn't have their own server space like Phil and I do want to chime in?

Happened to check the old forum and discovered the new crystalline glaze forum. Got registered and will check back in as folks find their way over here. Thank you William for creating the forum once again. I'm still exploring cone 6 crystalline glazes. The big change in my life is effective June 1, I have retired from full-time teaching, 38 years of being faculty and assistant dean was long enough.

Bill, welcome aboard. Congratulations on retiring. So, I guess you are considering part-time teaching? What are you going to do with all your new free time? Maybe become a Mod on this forum?

William,
Nice job! Thanks for your work and making the forum similar to the old look so as not to disorient us old farts - speaking for myself only - ahem!
I'm still a rookie, but, thirst for the technical knowledge and amazing work and generous tips shared by the members. A couple more years doing crystal and I'm gonna need a 12 Step Program for Crystalline Addiction!

Greetings, Phil!!! (So how's that?) Not my job anymore, cause William wouldn't spring for the little blue vest I wanted. Hope you start posting more pics of new stuff when you finally have time. and ps - I've got some great new pics from my boy to post over on everything else that are sure to draw you up this way with young Phil sooner or later!

William, I am considering and am scheduled to teach part-time at one art center and do some community outreach workshops for another. The college I retired from does want me back to teach part-time also. I opened a studio at a local arts center and may do some workshops there. I've been spending the past month catching up on all the house stuff that had been put off. I am honored you have asked if I'd be interested serving as a moderator for this forum, though I see there are several already serving in this capacity. Bill

G'Day Phil, I think I've met you somewhere before? Were you the Guy with the flat tyre in Spain?
