I've been working on Crystalline glazes and firing schedules for 7 or 8 years and my success rate for what i consider gallery worthy work is less than 20%. I know every kiln is different and variations in chemicals like Zinc and and colorants like Rutile can have a dramatic impact on outcomes. I have a couple of cone 10 glazes that I use that are more consistent than others but I really want two or three more that are consistently great. I should be embarrassed to ask if there's someone I can hire to help me, but I've embraced the pain about as long as I can stand and I'm desperate to stop ruining 80% of my work.
I'm looking for a glaze that generates Silver crystals on a black background, a Red background with well formed crystals and a light blue background with dark blue or Silver Crystals. If you or someone you know is willing to work with me to help me develop these glazes or straight out sell me recipes and firing schedules I'd love to get a proposal from you.

Hi Jim,
I don’t think it is embarrassing to ask for help.
I am not willing to consult for hire, too much commitment and also not being in person may be difficult. I would be wary about straight up paying for recipes and schedules, they don't always transfer well and may just be a waste of money. I’ve had someone literally mail me their chemicals for a glaze and give me their recipe to fire on my pots in my kiln and the result was completely different. also some peoples recipes and schedules that work well for them are straight out of books.
Also the three color combos you are looking for are quite more difficult than most. with your success rate so low i would suggest focusing on bringing up that rate with more common glazes first.
When you say you have been working on crystal glazes, what does that mean? does that mean trying recipes and schedules found somewhere? does that mean altering stuff after a firing and seeing the result of that change next firing? does that mean something else?
what glazes have you been firing? (don't need recipes, just color combos would do and maybe what colorants used).
what do your successful and non successful results look like? (i know posting pics here sucks)
What frit(s) are you using?
Do you use cones?

have you tried different batch numbers of your frit and fired them side by side?
have you tried zinc from different suppliers, fired side by side?
have you tried different clay bodies with the same glaze on them, fired side by side?

and have you tried looking for help on social media? i don’t know what it is like there, as i don't have social media myself. I don’t know if it is more just ppl showing what they have done or if there is a bunch of knowledge sharing. But it can’t hurt to try.
