Paul: If everyone is wanting lepodelite so much, perhaps it should bring a ton in. Might work well with the Pemco 283 I just picked up at an estate sale. I did manage to locate about 1/2lb of lepodelite a semi retired potter had. I have a call into Reade Minerals in St. Louis, see what I can do. -- correction: have a call into the Reade Mineral Rep who lives in St. Louis. Tom, How is the Lepidolite order coming? Regards Paul

Paul: Not going very well. From what I have been able to find, lepidolite was basically banned somewhere around 2001. The fluoride content was deemed too hazardous? What out seeing specs from Jose, hard to say what grade he is using. Two primary grades, the purple lepidolite has more lithium, as well as fluoride. The lesser grade has less lithium and less fluoride. So I suspect what the grade that can be accessed is not worth buying.
