apologies for sounds coming from the forum

I've never had the audio on on my computer while viewing the forum until today... and i heard an ad for something but had no other tabs up and saw no ad...

I was pretty confused for a while but finally realized where it was coming from...

I apologize if any of you have experienced this and/or it has confused you...

Back when William asked me for help with building the look of the forum we felt removing most of the ads was a good idea, but when I dove into the task I found that the template for this forum's site would not allow for removal of certain features (including ads)... it's built in a way they physically cannot be removed unless monies were paid. So I worked up some hackery that basically still leaves them there, they just cannot be seen or clicked on. Since they technically were still there we could get around them that way.

I did not realize some of them had sound (until just now).

That is where any confusing ad sounds are coming from.

So again, apologies for confusing or unexpected sounds coming from this forum.
