I see , or rather don't see , my photos in previous posts, which have been deleted by photobucket. What are the alternatives for new posts and is there any way to reinstate the photos without paying ransom to photobucket? Gordon

HI Gordon -
I don't know what that's all about. I've never paid photobucket anything and my pictures show up here.

Take a look at the Posting Photos topic (previous thread in this group) by MohawkPiper (or my New Moly) to see what has happened.

Arnie, Are you positive you have never paid photobucket? Can you sign in, and click on the "plans" link in the upper right next to the "cart" link and see what it says on the page it takes you to? It will tell you your plan in the dark grey box on the left below the "your current plan" text. Does it say "free" with your storage amount? it's really weird because even signed in i cant see my photos except for a very few... like this one... your account though is the only one i see ALL of them available. i wonder if they for some reason just haven't gotten around to making all their images not take into account the 3rd party hosting yet?

just in case you didnt see all the crap i've been posting in that other thread...
for the photobucket users...
it seems as if you add this at the end of your photobucket image link it will get around the lack of 3rd party hosting... "~original" (without the quotes)
so this ....

goes to this
