Jose: Some info to help you along. www.quartzpage.de/gen_mod.htmlTowards the middle is a graph showing the phase changes from silica to cristobalite, and then to tridymite. You will notice the phase change from silica to crysobalite is in the same range as crystal growth ramp holds. Always found that intriguing. Looking forward to results. Tom
