I was trying for these a while ago and we went through several chemical supplier changes and they just werent coming out for a while. After a few trials I am getting pretty close again. Just need to work out a little with the glaze, find the right hold temps, and put it on porcelain instead of bmix. enjoy. G

Greg: Once again you have created a niche for yourself. First the chattered- platters, now another unique color pallet: very smart business on your part. If this is your test piece, cannot wait to see the final product. Given the current color pallet on the West Coast, you will do well with it. Tom

Thanks guys. I don't get to play too much anymore so this was a lot of fun for me. It sold two days after it came out. Gordon i recognize that Duly piece. My inspirations were from Mankameyer (who's daughter I have met) even though it doesn't really look anything like his glazes.
I also recognize the Price piece on the right.
I am also getting closer to a black crystal of sorts on a white(ish) ground going the same route and i'm hoping i'll have a little more time to play and see if I can get these where I want them.

A little teaser... I could be totally wrong, but I think I can lessen the yellow in the background and darken and lessen the blue in the foreground. G
