Hello there! I'm 46 and this is my second semester in ceramics and I am dabbling in glazes. I have made 4 so far and out of the 4 my favorite was frog green! It was phenomenal! I just had some crystalline glaze recipes given to me and I cannot wait to mix them and fire them up! I am looking for recipes of all kinds for cone 5 and 6 glazes if anyone has any they would like to share. I am truly fascinated with anything different or unusual. :-) I am 46 years old, married to my high school sweetheart for 27 years so far. :-) we have 2 grown boys ages 24 and 26 and I also have a 6 year old grandson. I am a 2 time cancer survivor! Whoot! whoot! I am in college for Human Services and love it! I wish I would have had the chance to do it years ago! My advice to everyone is follow your dreams and live life!

Hi 'Pepper' -
I do cone 9 to 10 firings so I can't help you with recipes, but Bill Schrann wrote a book about cone 6 crystalline glazes - he's a member of this forum and you could try sending him a message - I share your enthusiasm about glazing and about life.
