Hey everyone. I am back in the states, trying to get my studio up and running again. I have had some trouble wedging and throwing clay because of various injuries (left arm golfer's elbow, right wrist carpal tunnel syndrome), and it has taken a long time to figure out a way to minimize the pain while throwing. I have started to use less force and torque with everything that I do in the studio. Rather than trying to throw and get a workout in at the same time, I just relax and use the double rib method of throwing and take everything on from scratch by breaking older bad habits and creating more effective new ones. I am still very messy, and this is something that I must change. I am working on it. Here is a quick little time lapse video of a lidded jar that I made the other day. I know this might be in the wrong section of the forum, but I am not used to the new format so I will post this here for now. I look forward to getting back into everything and chatting with all of you guys and gals once again. Cheers! -Justin Reese Video: Finished Piece (pre-trimming):

Justin,
Welcome home Bro, good to see you are back at it.
Nice lookin' jar. I'd be proud of that one myself.
Nice n' fat n' curvy n' yummy.
Not everyone can do that, let alone doing it being a little banged up.

Greg, Koz! Thanks for the warm welcoming. Koz, I read your post that you made about you father retiring and you having the full load of the business now. I was curious why I haven't seen much of your crystalline work in the past couple of years! I hope that you can get to those bisqued beauties soon that you have waiting patiently for their time in the belly of the beast. Its good to be back home and back at it. I wasn't able to contribute much to the forum while I was in South Korea, but I checked on the forum regularly. Greg, I just want to say WOW. Wow for your ability to grind through to the other side of mind blowing glaze combos, and wow for you progress that you have made with your forms. Congrats dude. I still owe you a piece of pottery for that thermocouple. I just remembered today actually when I was rummaging through my studio and saw my old broken thermocouple that i kept for some reason. Pm me your address man!
