It’s 7-7-2023 Well what it couldn’t get much more expensive!!!!! Red Copper Oxide 50LB costing $550 to $650 a bag. Plus $45 shipping. Many of my suppliers have just stopped caring it all together: Laguna Clay, Aardvark Clay, etc.
I finally just bit the bull-it and ordered the bag.
As for F413 last year I searched and searched and finally found a supplier. F413 - $600.00 = 100LB - Laguna Clay In LA. This year I need to do the search again as Laguna Clay no longer has it.

Just curious, is there a reason you need red copper? does green or black just not cut it? I haven’t played with red a whole lot so this probably doesn't mean a whole lot but i didn't notice much difference apart from intensity.
I have a little bit of red still that i never touch, but it isn't much. probably just a couple pounds. If you absolutely need some, id be willing to part with some of it (for no cost). based off where u shop, it sounds like we r close.
yea 413 is so freakin pricy and to ship just adds so much more. worst part is it doesn't save anything on shipping to buy more (if i recall). if you double the order, the shipping doubles.
i usually buy 100# at a time but i don't do crystals all that much anymore so it lasts me a while.

I have many glaze recipes That call for the different combinations Of copper oxide, copper cupric, copper carbonate And copper sulfate. They each give very different results When using crystalline Frits. As for $550 for 100LB Red copper oxide I also had to order it and wish I had stocked Up many years ago. I searched and searched for a month for The best price I could find. Many of the most common ceramic suppliers Have stopped carrying it and Cobalt oxide.
