Hi from Canada. Was a member of the forum before and got away from it. Life! First introduced to crystalline glazes in a Ceramic Monthly article by Diane Creber. Attended a workshop with John and Ginny at Dunedin Art School in 2009 to get my feet wet. I fell hard in love with the movement, depth and unpredictability of the glazes. High learning curve I must say. Entered my first Juried Exhibition for Frozen in Fire ... much to my surprise got a piece in . Managed to wrangle up the funds to attend the Symposium and Spain (wow, what a great experience that was) and met a lot of wonderful people along the way. I still have not been able to get a reduction kiln set up but it is on my "to do" list. We have all said and heard it before "it's like Christmas morning every time I open a crystal kiln firing". Thanks for all the wonderful information this forum has to offer. Happy potting everyone. Deb McLeod
