what makes it an analog?
"In chemistry, a structural analog, also known as a chemical analog or simply an analog, is a compound having a structure similar to that of another one, but differing from it in respect of a certain component."

Hey Jim, Thanks for your interest. Absent an XRD comparison with the real thing, am using "analog" perhaps imprecisely to express my uncertainty of what it actually is. The term "analog" is also used in the mineral world which prompted my use or misuse of the term. Cheers, Gordon
