Hello everyone, i have make a sample of aventurine glaze, does this can be called crystal glaze?

True avertine glazes usually have lead- or the safer version: lead bisilicate. Although Peter IIsley (Macro Crystalline Glazes) does have a lead free version of avertine. Avi recommends his book and shows it under his thread. Avertine, for lack of a better description is like a glitter effect.

I don't use lead, it's so toxic, but boron is the better solution.

That's an interesting glaze. What type of crystals are forming in there? Not an iron aventurine?
