previously, Serian mentions the ratio of barium to zinc; note the glaze compositions provided by Bill have a similar amount of barium and zinc. using various ratios might be a starting point for exploring this area. Gordon

i know its been ages since this... but to spill my technique, I just sandblasted regular ol 3110 frit glazes. totally cheating i know. but i learned thats what they do on glass blowing stuff to get it matte, so that was what i tried. but it looks and feels quite nice.
