Hi Gillbanks: If I am viewing your pictures correctly, it appears you are purposely distorting classic form? Are you doing this for aesthetics or using different planes to highlight the glaze. You are doing the Picaso thing: your work has a very distinct modern flair. In the fourth picture: were you purposely trying to seed crystals? Very unusual to get that much open field between the top and bottom. Would also like to see the first picture rotated to the right slightly- interested in seeing that large glossy area. Interesting twist on classic forms: looking forward to see where you go with this.
